Valentines Cabaret
Phunktional Limited will be putting on a delectably delicious Valentines Cabaret at the famous Circus Oz Spiegeltent in February 2016. Located in the new Collingwood Arts Precinct, Phunktional is bringing together some of Australia’s finest circus and cabaret artists in a world class show to celebrate love and its various incarnations.
Little Sisters – a migration and adoption story told through physical theatre and circus
A physical theatre interpretation about the lives of a group of children abandoned as babies in Hong Kong in the late 1950s. Utilising dance and contemporary circus, the performance tells the haunting tale of the ‘little sisters’ who grew up together in an Orphanage in Hong Kong until the age of 6, before being scattered around the world as they were adopted into Western families.
Based on real experiences, ‘Little Sisters’ strengthens Australia’s international cultural connections through the art.
