Hey all! As you know Who Stole The Sole? is Phunktional Ltd’s high impact theatre performance exploring issues of cyber-safety and sexting for the whole community. It has been seen by over 45,000 people over the last two years, and now we’re coming to Stratford!

Gippsland Women’s Health Service would like to invite you to attend a special preview of “Who Stole the Sole?” by Phunktional Limited on Wednesday 4th December 2013, commencing at 5pm at the Stratford Courthouse Theatre.  This preview is for teachers and school support staff, community organisations, police, and legal services.  It is not intended as a performance for students.  Please find a flier attached with details including RSVP.

Gippsland Women’s Health Service has previously partnered with Phunktional Limited to bring high impact theatre performances to schools across Gippsland with outstanding success.  “Who Stole the Sole?” is one of the company’s newest performances and explores issues of cyber-safety and sexting, not only for young people but for the whole community.

The performance facilitates positive engagement around many issues and paves the way for ongoing dialogue with local services and teachers.  Phunktional Limited have worked with South East Centre against Sexual Assault and Victorian Legal Aid to bring this arts strategy to engage and educate young people across regional Victoria.  The performances in schools and other community settings will be supported through the creation of a targeted Educational Resource Package that brings together a selection of existing and new resources that will be available online. (www.phunktional.org.au)

We hope that a staff group will attend this preview and hear more about how your school can secure a booking for a performance of “Who Stole the Sole?” during July 2014.  Look around your office, professional colleagues, friends…is there someone that could attend with you and support you in having this event at your school or community setting.  If you would like further information about this evening please contact Jan Tracey jan.tracey@gwhealth.asn.au or 5143 1600.

    FREE PERFORMANCE
Although this is a free performance RSVP is still essential. The performance lasts 1 hour followed by an opportunity for questions, networking and refreshments afterwards.

To register just click this link www.trybooking.com/69020, or if you have any further questions, contact Jan on jan.tracey@gwhealth.asn.au, or 03 5143 1600.

    Hope to see you there!
